Expert Storage for your Once-in-a-lifetime Dress
Service Description
The Gown Room is our dedicated bridal gown storage service located in Paraparaumu, created by Olivia Rose Bridal and Emma Jayne Bridal. Whether you're waiting for alterations, the big day, or simply need a secure space to keep your gown safe, we offer flexible, professional storage options for brides across the Wellington region. After your booking is submitted, I’ll be in touch to confirm your storage needs and send through your invoice. Payment is required before drop-off unless otherwise arranged. ------ Prices: One time setup fee: $30 (waived for existing Emma Jayne Bridal clients) Short-Term Storage ( Up to 2 Months) -Perfect for brides needing a safe place to store their gown before or shortly after the wedding. $60/month or $90 flat (Under 1 month) ------ Long-Term Storage (3+ Months) For those wanting to keep their gown safe long after the celebration: 3 months: $180 6 months: $330 9 months: $480 12 months: $620 Includes a 7-day grace period before renewals apply.
Cancellation Policy
STORAGE TERMS We take every care to ensure your gown is stored safely and securely. Our space is private, access-controlled, and protected from sunlight, pests, and moisture to the best of our ability. As with any storage service, rare events may occur beyond our control. The Gown Room cannot accept liability for loss, theft, or damage due to fire, flood, natural disaster, or other unforeseen circumstances. If you would like financial protection for the value of your gown while in storage, we recommend arranging your own insurance coverage, as our insurance may not cover the full value of your gown. By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and accept these terms. Clients may choose from short-term or long-term storage packages as outlined below. A one-time $30 setup/admin fee applies (waived for existing clients of Emma Jayne Bridal). Access to the gown during storage requires at least 48 hours’ notice. Rush access within 48 hours will incur a $50 rush fee. Payment is due in full before drop-off unless a long-term plan is selected, in which case monthly charges may apply. LIABILITY & INSURANCE While your gown is in our possession, we will take all reasonable care to protect it from loss or damage. We hold business liability insurance appropriate for this service; however, this insurance may not cover the full value of your gown. We strongly recommend that you arrange your own insurance if your gown has significant financial or sentimental value. We are not responsible for: Natural aging, discolouration, or fabric deterioration over time Loss, theft, fire, flood, or other damage beyond reasonable control Repair or replacement costs for any damage incurred DECLARED GOWN VALUE This value is recorded for tracking and storage purposes only. It does not represent an insurance declaration, and no guarantees of value recovery are implied or offered.
