Appointment Cancellation Policy

All appointments must be scheduled in advance. It is important to adhere to the agreed-upon time or notify Emma Jayne Bridal in case of delays or cancellations. Emma Jayne Bridal reserves the right to charge a fee of $30 for missed appointments where no notice or less than 24 hours' notice is given for cancellation.

  1. Late Arrivals: Please note that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment without prior notification, it may be necessary to reschedule your fitting to another available time slot.

  2. Rescheduling Appointments: In the event that you need to reschedule your appointment, please notify Emma Jayne Bridal at least 24 hours in advance to secure a new appointment slot.

  3. No-Show Policy: A $30 fee pay be charged for failure to show up for a scheduled appointment without any notice.

  4. Emergency Situations: Emma Jayne Bridal understands that unforeseen circumstances may arise. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to an emergency, please inform Emma Jayne Bridal as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.

Payment Policy

  1. Emma Jayne Bridal accepts payments through Online Credit Card (3% Surcharge), Bank Transfer and Cash.

  2. A minimum deposit of 25% is required upon placing an alteration order, unless alternative arrangements have been discussed during your consultation with Emma Jayne Bridal. No work will commence without payment.

  3. Alteration and sewing charges are determined based on an hourly rate. Emma Jayne Bridal will provide an estimated cost after fitting and pinning your garment. If the actual costs significantly differ from the quoted amount, Emma Jayne Bridal will seek your confirmation before proceeding with further work.

  4. Full payment is required prior to collecting your garment.

Service Cancellation Policy

  1. Once Emma Jayne Bridal has received the deposit for your alteration order, the order will be completed by the scheduled pick-up date. If you change your mind and the alteration is already completed, no refund will be provided. If the alteration has not been started, Emma Jayne Bridal may choose to issue a partial or full refund, taking into account the time spent on pinning the alterations.

  2. Emma Jayne Bridal is highly experienced in clothing alterations and carries out work in a professional manner. During your fitting appointment, Emma will ensure your comfort during the pinning process. The completed work will be based on the approved pinning. If you change your mind after the garment is completed, additional alteration work will be charged accordingly.

  3. If you anticipate fluctuations in your body measurements, it is your responsibility to inform Emma Jayne Bridal in advance, allowing her to schedule fittings accordingly. In the event that your measurements change after the garment is completed, you will be responsible for the cost of required alterations.

Photo Rights Policy

  1. This policy applies unless discussed otherwise beforehand.

  2. Emma Jayne Bridal photographs all alteration and dressmaking work to showcase her achievements to her audience. These photos may be used on her website and social media platforms to promote her services. No client information will be disclosed unless explicit permission is given.

  3. With your permission, Emma Jayne Bridal may occasionally take photos during fitting appointments for a "before and after" feature. These photos will be used on her website and social media to promote her services. No client information will be disclosed without explicit permission.

  4. All garments are photographed and/or recorded for Emma Jayne Bridal's records. These images may be displayed on her website and social media to promote her services. No client information will be disclosed without explicit permission.

  5. Any photos provided by yourself, friends, or family members to Emma Jayne Bridal may be utilized for social media and marketing purposes.

  6. Photos will only be displayed on Emma Jayne Bridal's website and social media after the planned event date.

Change of Mind Policy:

  1. Approval of Completed Alterations: By accepting and leaving with your garment, you acknowledge that you have inspected and approved the completed alterations performed by Emma Jayne Bridal.

  2. Change of Mind Requests: In the event that you have a change of mind regarding the alterations after leaving with your garment, please contact Emma Jayne Bridal within 7 days of the pick-up date to discuss your concerns.

  3. Assessment of Change Requests: Emma Jayne Bridal will assess the feasibility of accommodating your change of mind request based on the nature of the alterations and the current state of the garment.

  4. Additional Alteration Charges: Any change of mind requests that require additional alterations will be subject to separate charges. The cost will be determined based on the time, materials, and resources required to fulfill your new request.

  5. Revised Timeline: Accommodating change of mind requests may impact the original scheduled pick-up date. Emma Jayne Bridal will provide you with an updated timeline for the completion of the additional alterations.

  6. Satisfaction Guarantee: Emma Jayne Bridal aims to ensure your satisfaction with the alterations. However, please note that accommodating change of mind requests after leaving with the garment is subject to additional charges and availability of resources.

Customer Satisfaction Acknowledgement Policy:

  1. Inspection and Acceptance: Once you have received and left the premises with your garment, it is understood that you have thoroughly inspected the alterations performed by Emma Jayne Bridal and are fully satisfied with the completed work.

  2. Approval of Alterations: By accepting the garment and leaving the premises, you acknowledge that the alterations have been performed to your specifications and meet your desired outcome.

  3. Opportunity for Feedback: Emma Jayne Bridal welcomes feedback and strives to ensure your satisfaction throughout the alteration process. If there are any concerns or issues, please raise them before leaving the premises to allow us an opportunity to address them promptly.

  4. Responsibility for Post-Pickup Alterations: Any further alterations or modifications requested after leaving the premises will be treated as new alteration requests and may be subject to additional charges.

  5. Limited Liability: Emma Jayne Bridal cannot be held responsible for any issues or dissatisfaction arising from changes made to the garment after leaving the premises or due to normal wear and tear.
